Nobody should have to build alone.

Entrepreneurs are building in isolation — and more than ever, they’re looking for community, for people who understand what they’re carrying. The organizations that support them — ecosystems, chambers, nonprofits — want to help, but they’re stitching together fragmented tools just to track who they’re serving for a grant report or a sponsor update.

Churches face the same thing from another direction. Ministry can be lonely. Clergy rarely have a way to collaborate across congregations. Denominations struggle to share resources. And the technology most churches run on is years behind — especially the progressive ones trying to reach people in new ways — leaving congregants less engaged, volunteers harder to coordinate, and members scattered across spreadsheets and group texts. Even the ways they try to reach their people — email nobody opens, posts the algorithm hides — keep them shouting into noise instead of talking to their community.

Different worlds. Same ache. People searching for community, and the organizations meant to bring them together held back by tools that were never built for them.

I run Do Good Brands, a creative agency in Winston-Salem, working with the two groups most agencies overlook: faith communities and entrepreneur ecosystems. Before that, a decade in business development, sales, and operations — growing sales 50%+ at a distillery, co-founding a coffee roastery in Norton, Virginia, learning what it takes to run something small and keep it alive.

I’ve spent years in rooms with pastors, founders, and chamber directors, and kept seeing the same thing: remarkable people, doing the work that holds communities together, feeling more alone than they should — and fighting their tools instead of being served by them. So I’m building the thing I wished they had.
